Why should we harvest the rain?

In Module 1, we explored the sources of our water and how it gets distributed. We also reflected on the challenges of water access, and how they can affect quality of life. Active water harvesting systems play a key role in ensuring our access to fresh water, they help us store and distribute water in a decentralized manner, that helps to empower ourselves and our communities.

Case Study: Islana Urbana

In Mexico City, the organization Isla Urbana is working to support sustainable development and water access by demonstrating the impact of active water harvesting systems. Check out this video to learn more about the importance of their work.
